Due to high calories, drinking lassi can lead to weight gain. From the Ayurvedic point of view, buttermilk is lighter than lassi. Drinking this does not increase cough defects. Buttermilk contains about 50 percent fewer calories than milk or lassi. Also, there is 75 percent less fat. Therefore, for those who want to lose weight, drinking buttermilk is a better option. Water is also mixed in buttermilk. This further reduces the calories of buttermilk. On the other hand, despite using low-fat milk in lassi, it has more calories than buttermilk. People who have complaints of ulcer or acidity in the stomach. For them drinking both buttermilk and lassi is a healthy option. Digestion becomes easier by drinking both these beverages.
