Chernyshov signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Sharks on Thursday.
Chernyshov posted 28 points in 22 games with Dynamo Moscow's junior team in the MHL last season, and he also recorded four points in 34 regular-season outings with the KHL team. The winger was selected 33rd overall in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. It's unclear where he'll play in 2024-25, but it will likely be at least a couple of years before he's considered an NHL option.

Bordeleau's contract matches his qualifying offer, so he'll come with a $874,125 cap hit if he plays in the NHL. The 22-year-old had six goals and 11 points in 27 contests with the Sharks in 2023-24. He also provided 11 goals and 25 points across 35 outings with AHL San Jose.

Emberson recently signed a one-year deal with the Sharks, resolving his restricted free-agent status ahead of the season. Last year, the 24-year-old defenseman saw action in 30 NHL contests in which he garnered one goal, nine assists and 31 shots while averaging 18:33 of ice time. San Jose selected Celebrini with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. He amassed 32 goals and 64 points in 38 games for Boston University during his freshman season in 2023-24 en route to winning the Hobey Baker Award. As a member of the Sharks, he will likely occupy a top-six role and see time on the top power-play unit during his 2024-25 rookie campaign.

Dellandrea was dealt to San Jose from Dallas on June 19 for a 2025 fourth-round pick. The 13th pick in the 2018 Draft by the Stars, Dellandrea played in only 42 regular-season games in 2023-24, due to injuries and healthy scratches. He managed two goals and nine points, as well as a goal in six postseason games. Dellandrea will get a new start with the Sharks and will likely find himself battling for a role as a bottom-six forward in training camp.

Toffoli has played for five different organizations over the last five seasons but will now return to California, this time with the Sharks. It was the second straight season in which Toffoli was able to reach the 30-goal mark, though he may have trouble getting to that mark with San Jose if the team's offense doesn't take a step forward in 2024-25.

A first-round draft pick (No. 11 overall) by Vancouver in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft, Roberts remains a work in progress. He skates well and makes a solid first pass, but that hasn't translated into much offense for the Giants thus far, as Roberts has just 10 goals and 39 points in 129 CHL games. The biggest flaw in Roberts' game is his inconsistency in man-on-man defending. The good news is that Roberts is one of the younger players in the draft, having just turned 18 in early June. He'll have plenty of time to iron out the deficiencies in his game.
