My husband and I were traveling from Indiana to Nova Scotia with several stops between. We left the 401 in search of alternatives to the OnRoute sort of food and found Yefsi. Seeing the earlier posting, it would be helpful if a sign indicated to seat yourself, but we did get acknowledged and a menu shortly after. We both ordered the lunch special of the day and it was delicious with a quantity that we could have shared the meal. The salad was crisp and fresh though mostly iceberg lettuce. Prices were reasonable and the waitress was timely. I am glad we got in/out before the group of 10 or so ladies arrived because I suspect our service would have declined.

My Mother recently moved to Iroquois, and so she's been trying the local restaurants. She took my Nana and I to Yefsi on Christmas Eve for lunch. We were glad it was open. It was pretty busy in there!
They have everything you would expect from a local every-day Resto, something for everyone on the menu, from Burgers to salads, Soup of the Day, Western sandwiches and shish-kebab and chicken fingers. I had the poutine, as I just felt like a snack, but it was a big portion and I could barely finish it.
The tea comes in teeny tiny pots, only big enough for one cup. I'm sure we'll be back next time I visit Iroquois. -

After my son's soccer game, my wife, son and I decided to go for breakfast. We have been to Yesfi many times in the past. The food is always excellent and the service sometimes is slow. Knowing this, we decided to still go. We sat ourselves at a table close to the door and waited for service. After about 5 minutes with no greeting, no "I'll be right with you", no heads up visual cues from the waitstaff, I got up and grabbed my own Menus. After another 5 minutes had passed, again with no acknowledgement that we were even sitting in the restaurant, we got up and abruptly left. It was approximately 920 in the morning and the restaurant was not even half full. This is a good restaurant, with good food, and friendly waitstaff. I decided to write this review, so that the ownership might address this for all other customers in the future. For me, I would have sat and waited patiently if I was greeted with a "hello", presented with some menus and offered coffee, even if the waitress told me that they were a bit backed up with orders and would not be able to get right back to take my order. All I ask is that you acknowledge the presence of your customers.
