Cup or Jug?
Our molinillos are available in two sizes:

  • Small: 9'' - 10” - Small batch ready; can use in a small saucepan or large mug for an individual serving.
  • Large: 13" - 14” - Make enough for the whole family; mixes and froths a large batch. Serve in a jug. Beautiful clay jugs available in our Almonte Shop.

A Craft Passed Down for Generations
Each molinillo is made by hand - turned and carved out of a single piece of alder wood, then decorated with dark accents burned into the wood. Eachmolinillo artisan hasa deep history with woodworking - some spending nearly 50 years making molinillos. It’s a craft that is shared and passed on to keep these rich, intricate pieces alive.

Instructions
Melt 30 grams of chocolate for 200 ml of liquid (hot water, milk or alternative) per serving.Whisk with molinillo until thechocolate is dissolved and your hot chocolate is deliciously frothy. Adjust amount of liquid depending on richness / thickness desired.

Product Care
Wash molinillo in warm soapy water, rinse and air dry. Not dishwasher safe.
