Gray Zone Warfare has generated a fair amount of interest amongst players in the past few days, so you might be wondering if the game is available on PS5 or Xbox if your preferred platform is one of those consoles.
Now that the game is out in Early Access, here is everything you need to know about a console version.
Is Gray Zone Warfare on PS5 or Xbox?
Unfortunately, Gray Zone Warfare does not have a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S version at the moment. The game was only released in its early access stage exclusively for the PC via Steam.
That doesn't mean a console version is out of the question as the developers have addressed it before. Through the game's official X account, Madfinger Games stated that their goal is to have a console port for the title.
However, this may be years out since the developers also claimed that they first want to make sure their "vision truly comes into fruition first".
Does Gray Zone Warfare have controller support?
Another question that many users have asked is if the game's PC version has controller support. Sadly, you can only enjoy the extraction shooter using mouse and keyboard at the moment.
The developers promised to add controller support in the future, but there are no timelines for it so players will have to wait for any news about it. Given that implementing controller support should be easier than porting the game to consoles, we expect this feature to come out before any console release.

Unfortunately, as per official channels, Gray Zone Warfare will not be released on the PS5, Xbox, or any other consoles. The game has been developed exclusively for release on PC. This tac-shooter can only be accessed, downloaded, and purchased from the Steam store, its official merchant partner.
As of this writing, Gray Zone Warfare will solely launch on PC via Steam Early Access. That said, developer Madfinger Games wants to launch the tactical extraction shooter on consoles at some point.
The game is currently PC exclusive, but developers have expressed a desire to eventually bring it to consoles. Maybe an Xbox Game Pass release will not be so far in the future.
As you can see, these specs are fairly reasonable for a current game that is only coming out on PC for now. We could say they are on the high end of things, which was expected given the graphical detail the game has been showing off in the trailers and gameplay.
Fortnite it is not. Tarkov is predominantly all about the PvP whereas in Gray Zone Warrior literally everybody apart from your squad is trying to off you – humans, AI bots with unerring accuracy. Stick your head up for too long and it's getting blown off either way.
Can I Run Gray Zone Warfare? To run the Gray Zone Warfare system requirements, you will need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU, an Intel Core i5-8600 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 40GB of HD space.
No faction in Gray Zone Warfare has any real leg up over the other two. Although your starting point differs, each faction has access to the same gear, missions, and map. Unlike multiplayer in Escape From Tarkov, if you plan to play with friends, I would ensure that you all join the same faction to play together.
Gray Zone Warfare's servers are currently online. To check the game's server status, check their X account, Discord community, and Steam news page. If you're not able to log in, try another server, check your internet connection, and check your Firewall settings.
Gray Zone Warfare will launch into early access on April 30 at 6 am PT / 9 am ET, with four editions of the game available at launch. The standard edition of the game will cost $34.99, with further editions costing more but also unlocking in-game perks.
Unfortunately, Gray Zone Warfare does not have official Controller support, although players still can use it. This applies not only to early access, but should also apply to the final release.
To play this game on PS5, your system may need to be updated to the latest system software. Although this game is playable on PS5, some features available on PS4 may be absent.
