Shelf-Life: Buttermilk Powder will store for 3 to 5 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place). Onceopened, it has an average shelf life of 6 to 12 months.
Instructions: Blend 2½ tablespoons powdered buttermilk with 8 ounces of water. The texture and flavor can change with more or less water.
Uses: Buttermilk Powder can be used to make creamy dressings, icings and gravies, or in combination with baked goods, desserts and anything that requires buttermilk.
Packaging: Buttermilk Powder is sealed air tight in a #10 can and weighs approximately 3.5 pounds. A case contains 6 #10 cans and weighs 21 pounds. Each can contains 40 servings. One serving size is ¼ cup.
